The Division of Professional Development conducts training in general and specialized areas in addition to conducting new hire assessments, internal affairs investigations, promotional assessment labs, and maintaining State Certification files. The division also maintains and revises policy and procedure manuals. The staff also assists other agencies and regional academies in conducting annual in-service training.
