The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division is responsible for serving criminal warrants, temporary protection orders, and answering calls for service. During the 2008 year, the Warrant Division had 1,483 arrests, with 5,475 attempts to serve criminal warrants. We answered 1,268 calls for service from local hospitals, adult probation, doctor’s offices, superior court, magistrate court, juvenile court and North West Regional Hospital.
